INEC’s head of voter education and publicity in Rivers State, Mark Usulor has called on those coming to collect their Permanent Voters Card to be of good conduct so as to ease the collection process.
Usulor made the call while reacting to reports of difficulty in the collection of PVCs in the state, during a phone chat with Ifiemi Andrew NigrInfo Today.
According to him, the commission is trying to beef up manpower to ease the collection of PVCs.
He noted that some persons were deployed yesterday to assist in giving out the cards, and that more persons will be sent to PHALGA and Obio/Akpor Local Government Areas.
He revealed that there are laid down procedures at the centres before cards are issued, and urged those visiting their offices to obey the rules to make the process easy.
