Award winning Cable News Network (CNN), international Journalist, Christiane Amanpour has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
Amanpour, disclosed this in a series of messages to her viewers on Monday.
The journalist, noted that she is currently undergoing a round of chemotherapy and has had a successful major surgery to remove it.
“…like millions of women around the world, I have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer,” she said.
“I’ve had successful major surgery to remove it and I’m now undergoing several months of chemotherapy for the very best possible long term prognosis…” She added.
