Former Rivers Federal lawmaker, Hon. Chinyere Igwe has reacted to the sealing of his fuel station “MEGA TOOLS” by security operatives of the Rivers State Government House.
Chinyere, in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt, Today said the incident is politically motivated, because he is supporting Presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.
He wondered why the state government sealed the station, as he does not deal on illegal petroleum products known as “Kpofire”.
He also stated that if he was a member of the All Progressives Congress, the state government would not have done it, as they will resist it.
“Sealing off my filling station is politically motivated….Because I am supporting Atiku Abubakar,” he said.
“I dont deal on kpofire. I dont know why he asked them to seal my filling station. If I am an APC member, he cant try it, he knows they will resist him,” he added.
