Legendary Nigerian singer, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy has backed the removal of fuel subsidy by President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Charly Boy in a statement on Wednesday, said there can be no other time for subsidy removal as the time is now.

According to him, the fight is really not about Obi, but about the criminals who insist on stealing the National patrimony of Nigerians, leaving them poor and hopeless.

“Listen and be informed. Okonjo Iweala bares it all on the subsidy removal. There can be no other time, and the time is NOW,” he said.

“My fellow Nigerians this fight is really not about Obi. It’s about the criminals who insist on stealing our national patrimony leaving us poor and hopeless,” he added.
