The Executive Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Samuel Nwanosike has reacted to the killing of Security Operatives at Omagwa and Isiokpo Communities in the area, on Saturday.

Nwanosike in a statement on Monday, condemned the incident, describing it as unfortunate.

He said local vigilante groups and hunters are now at alert in the various communities to forestall a reocurrence of the unfortunate incident.

He sympathized with families of security agents who lost their lives, while assuring residents that the incident will never happen again.

Nwanosike called on security agencies not to be deterred by the incident, as the council is ready to support them to arrest perpetrators of the heinous act.
