Ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage clash between Rivers United and Diable Noirs of Senegal, Head Coach, Stanley Eguma has revealed their main target in the tournament.
Eguma, in a statement yesterday said their target is to progress beyond the group stage of the competition.
“We are here for business and purpose, I think our ambition is to qualify from the group. I think we are the only underdog in the group but we are not afraid,” Eguma told a press conference,” he said.
ASEC Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire and DC Motema Pembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo are the other teams in the group.
