President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to threats by Niger Delta Avengers to blow up oil installations and critical national projects, if the government fails to address issues bedeviling the region.
Buhari, in a statement over the weekend described the threat as unecessary.
He said it is worrisome that the NDA were issuing such threats at a time the government is addressing demands raised by the Ijaw National Council.
The President urged the Ex militants not to go ahead with their threats as the government is committed to putting an end to the many issues in the region.
The Niger Delta Avengers had in a statement threatened to bomb critical infrastructures, if the government fails to with immediate effect address issues confronting the region.
