LAGOS — A Lagos State High Court sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square has sentenced Andrew Nice Ominikoron, a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) driver, to death by hanging for the murder of 22-year-old passenger, Bamise Ayanwola.
Justice Sherifat Sonaike delivered the judgment on Friday, following the defendant’s conviction on charges related to the death of Ayanwola, a fashion designer, who was last seen boarding a BRT bus driven by Ominikoron in 2022.
