FCT Minister – Nyesom Wike has reacted to the political unrest in Rivers State.

Wike in a statement today, when some leaders of the South South paid him a courtesy visit in his office to congratulate him on his emergence as Minister of FCT described the unrest as a “party affair.”

According to him, the party has taken over the issue assuring that the wranglings would be resolved.

He also said the unrest is not an ethnic affair but a party one as every politician has an interest.

Meanwhile, the PDP has directed all those involved in the unrest to sheathe their swords as they find lasting solutions to the problems.
