Pauletta Ajayi, the kidnapped lawyer has been released

The Rivers State Police Command says it has rescued Barrister Paulette Ajayi. Paulette who kidnapped by unknown gunmen at her residence at Rumukwurushi in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, Rivers State.

The State Commissioner of Polic,e Joseph Mukan made this known in a statement in Port Harcourt today.

Mukan said the young lawyer was rescued alongside another kidnap victims by officers of the Anti- kidnapping unit from a thick forest in Etche Local Government Area of the state.

Paulette Ajayi was kidnapped few days ago by gunmen in military camouflage. Her abduction caused panic across the state as many stakeholders condemned the act and called for her unconditional release.
