A plaza opposite Total fuel station along Ikwerre road, by Echue street, in mile 2 Diobu Port Harcourt, is currently on fire.
Residents and firefighters are battling to put out the fire which has destroyed goods worth millions.
Security operatives have barricaded the area to prevent hoodlums from carting away valuables.
The incident, has caused panic in the area as residents are scampering for safety.
The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, as at the time of filing this report.
