Nigerians have been thrown into darkness as the national grid has collapsed for the first time in 2025.
According to data obtained from the Nigerian System Operator’s portal (niggrid.org), the collapse occurred at 1:56 pm.
The cause of the latest failure is yet to be disclosed by authorities. As you may know, the grid collapsed about 12 times in 2024.
