Lokoja – A Federal High Court in Lokoja has overturned an earlier ruling that barred the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from processing the recall of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. The judgment, delivered just moments ago, clears the way for the electoral body to fulfill its constitutional duty.

The court ruled that the recall process initiated by constituents of Kogi Central Senatorial District is legally valid and must proceed in accordance with the law. The judge also emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and order throughout the process.

The process If completed, could result in her removal from office before the end of her tenure.
