Breaking: APC National Chairman, Adamu and Lalong Loses Senatorial Bids

The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Abdullahi Adamu and the Director General of All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Governor Simon Lalong have lost their bids to represent Nasarawa West Senatorial and Plateau South Senatorial Districts respectively.

From the results declared by the returning officer for Plateau South, Professor Meshak Goyit. Governor Simon Lalong lost to Rtd AVM Bali Ninkap Napoleon of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 148,844 votes to defeat the former who scored a total of 91,674.

Also All Progressives Congress chairman, Abdullahi Adamu lost his election to represent Nasarawa western zone senatorial seat to Ahmed Wadada. The Social Democratic Party candidate, Ahmed Wadada polled 96,488 votes to defeat APC national chairman who got 47,717. The Returning Officer, Professor Nasiruddeen Baba declared Ahmed Wadada the winner of the February 25th election and was returned elected.

Meanwhile, the collation of the presidential election is ongoing at the National Collation Center, Abuja.
