A young boy in his early twenties was yesterday, caught smoking Indian hemp inside a church around the Illoabuchi axis of Diobu in Port Harcourt.
The young man, according to a source is currently in chains in the church, and is receiving prayers to be free from drug addiction.
He said the parents of the boy believes his addiction to drugs is spiritual, as they had once taken him to a psychiatric home, but could not find anything wrong.
The source, said he caught the boy smoking inside the church, when he began perceiving the substance and decided to search where it was coming from.
He explained that the incident angered the resident, pastor who was about sending him away but, had to forgive him, after his parents who are members of the church pleaded with him.
He said it was shocking how he managed to get the substance despite being in chains.
He added that someone might have brought it to him, and that they have decided to stop his friends from visiting him anymore.
