The Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple, has announced a N500,000 reward for credible information leading to the arrest of Iyowuna Jumbo, the Chief Security Officer of Akiama Community, who has been declared wanted by the police.
According to a public notice issued on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, the Nigerian Police, Bonny Division, are seeking Jumbo in connection with a serious assault case, including the alleged stabbing of an individual in the throat. The suspect is reportedly on the run.
Residents with useful information on his whereabouts are urged to report to the nearest police station in Bonny or Finima, or contact the Chief Security Officer of Bonny LGA via 08162820090.
Chairman Pepple reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to maintaining peace and security in the local government area, stressing that no individual or group would be allowed to undermine public safety.
The notice was issued by the Office of Media and Communications, Bonny Local Government Council.
