The Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State has set Friday, October 23, 2026, as the deadline for the submission of forms for its N50 million student bursary programme.
The announcement was contained in a public notice signed by Comrade Godswill Lawson Jumbo, Special Assistant to the Chairman on Student Affairs, on Friday, October 15, 2026.
The notice directed all registered Bonny students across the local chapters of the National Union of Bonny Students (NUBS) to complete and submit their bursary forms, alongside relevant supporting documents, to their respective chapter presidents before the deadline.
It also instructed all chapter presidents to forward the completed forms to the NUBS National President for collation and subsequent submission to the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman on Student Affairs.
According to the notice, the submission deadline is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026.
Students requiring further information or assistance with the submission process were advised to contact the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman on Student Affairs through 07019944304 or 09053546452.
The notice urged all eligible students and chapter presidents to comply with the directive and ensure that the required documents are submitted within the stipulated period.
