Chairperson of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Rivers State, Beatrice Itubor has called on the Federal Government, security agencies and the international community to hold the state government responsible should anything happen to any labour leader in the state.
Itubor, in a chat with journalists yesterday, said the call became necessary following incessant attacks on the union in the state.
She said their only crime is asking for the rights of workers including payment of workers gratuities, implementation of the new minimum wage, promotion, among others.
