Comr. Emecheta Chuku has been appointed the new Chairperson of the Rivers State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress.
The union, disclosed this in a statement signed by its Vice Chairperson, Comr. Morford Temple.
According to him, the decision was reached after its State Administrative Council meeting held Today.
He said the new appointment is following the emergence of Comr. Beatrice Itubo as the governorship flagbearer of Labour Party in the state.
Comr. Morford also commended the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike on the commencement of verification of pensioners towards the payment of gratuity, pension arrears and death benefits.
