The Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State, Barr. George Turnah, MON, has dissolved all standing and ad hoc committees, as well as political and management appointees appointed under the previous leadership of the party.
The directive, announced on Friday, affects all directors of directorates and heads of departments within the party’s administrative structure. The decision marks a sweeping reorganization under the newly constituted Caretaker Committee following the tenure of former State Working Committee Chairman, Chief Solomon Agwanana.
Turnah expressed appreciation for the service of those affected and extended best wishes for their future endeavors.
All individuals impacted by the dissolution are instructed to return all party property in their possession to the Secretary of the Caretaker Committee no later than the close of work on Monday, April 28, 2025.
