National Chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu has accused the All Progressives Congress, of being behind the suit against its Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar and not Gov. Nyesom Wike.
Ayu, in a statement said Wike is a strong party man who would not want to bring down the PDP, adding that he is happy that he came out to deny it.
He also said there is no crises in the party, as the PDP is a strong united party.
Part of his statement reads,
“There is no crisis in PDP. PDP has no crisis. It’s a united political party. Anybody who thinks he can come and do crisis, they should wait for us next year February, we will show them that they are the ones who have a crisis.
“So, I want to make it clear because people will start saying that Wike took the party to court. Wike is a strong party man and I’m happy he came out immediately and denied that he never took the party to court.
“And very soon, it will be revealed that the coordinator of the Presidential candidate of the APC was the one that put Wike’s name. And that is a criminal thing.”
