Leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has called on hoodlums not to attack fellow citizens and their businesses, as they carryout their attacks.
Kanu in a statement on Thursday, advised the hoodlums to spare their fellow citizens because they are equally suffering under the yoke of one Nigeria.
He encouraged the attackers to attack government buildings and politicians who are responsible for their sufferings.
“Whatever you do, please make sure you don’t destroy private businesses or hurt your fellow citizens who are equally suffering under the yoke of ‘One Nigeria’. Focus your anger and frustration on politicians and Government Buildings. They are the ones holding you down,” he tweeted.
There have been series of attacks on government facilities, across the South East, in recent times, by unknown gunmen, which have left scores of government officials dead.
Meanwhile, the government has accused the outlawed IPOB group of being behind the attacks.
