The Rivers State Police Command, has confirmed the attack on Taskforce officials and a police officer by hoodlums at the Oginiba slaughter in Trans-Amadi, Today.
Spokesperson of the command, Nnamdi Omoni who made this known in a statement, said 10 persons have been arrested in connection with the incident.
He stated that the suspects are currently being interrogated and would be prosecuted if investigation shows they are linked to the attack.
He said no mass arrest was made and that officers have been stationed in the area to maintain peace and order.
Omoni confirmed that those injured are currently receiving treatment at a medical facility.
