Founder of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force and front line Niger-Delta Activist, Mujihad Asari Dokubo says Governor Nyesom Wike has shutdown the Buguma General hospital for six years in the guise of renovating it.
The outspoken activist who made this known yesterday in a statement said the construction of the trans-Kalabari road will not solve the development problems of the Kalabari people in Rivers State.
Asari said even if the government constructs ten trans-kalabari roads, nothing will change. He called on the Kalabari elites to bring projects to their communities rather than depend on the government to develop the area.
Dokubo, furthermore called on Kalabaris to stand-up for their rights as they are currently not moving forward.
