Chairman of Obio Akpor Local Government Council, Hon Barr George Ariolu DSSRS, has called on the people of Rumuomasi Community to live in peace and harmony as brothers and sisters.
Ariolu made this known in a statement through his media aide, Ichenwo Goodluck when the Paramount Ruler of the Community Eze Ezebunwo Adele led his Council members, youths and CDC Chairman on a courtesy visit to the Council Headquarters, Rumuodomaya.
Barr George while thanking the Paramount Ruler and his people for the visit, implored him to initiate a peace process noting that peace makers are not weaklings, but people of wisdom.
He noted that the council under his watch has made tremendous progress in the annex of Local government within this period, he reassured the people of Rumuomasi that his administration before leaving office will do more for the people of Obio Akpor.
Enumerating some of his achievements, the Council boss informed them that his administration will soon commence the training of Obio Akpor youths on trucking, he noted his administration has continually carried out feasibility study to know skills that are viable before embarking on such training.
Speaking Further, The council chairman explained that his administration has given out over thirteen transformers to communities in Obio Akpor and promise to issue one to the community as earlier requested.
