The Court of Appeal in Abuja has affirmed Julius Abure as the authentic Chairman of the Labour Party.

Justice Hamma Barka in his judgement Today, held that the high court was wrong to have assumed jurisdiction on the matter.

It also awarded a cost of N1 million in favour of Mr Abure and against the respondent, Lamidi Apapa.

The FCT High Court last year restrained Mr Abure and two others from parading themselves as national officers of the party.
