A yet-to-be identified supporter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), slumped and died during Saturday’s convention at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
Daily Trust reports that the supporter was heading for Eagle Square, venue of the convention, when he slumped.
Sources say the deceased first complained of dizziness before the incident.
They said the deceased was latter covered and taken away by some persons led by some security operatives.
It is yet to be known if the reporter died as a result of the squabble that occurred at the entrance of the Eagle Square, after some supporters of the party were denied access to the venue.
The party is yet to react to the incident.
