Chief. Victor Giadom has emerged Vice Chairman South South of the All Progressives Congress.
Giadom, was declared winner of the contest this morning having scored the highest number of votes cast.
The perceived candidate of the minister of Transportation, polled a total of 1825 votes while his closest and only rival, Barr, Wogu Boms scored 3 out of the 1839 votes cast.
The South south vice chairmanship position was one of few positions were a consensus could not be reached by the party, as none of the contestants agreed to step down for the other.
You would recall that the party had announced that aspirants who stepped down for the other, would get a refund of ticket fee.
Giadom and Boms, the two candidates hail from Rivers State. While the former is a loyalist to the minister of Transportation, Chibuile Amaechi, the latter is a loyalists to Sen. Magnus Abe.
