Former chairman of Ahoada East local government Area of Rivers state, Cassidy Ikeagbidi, Eze Ekpeye Logbo – Ngozi Anugwo and five others standing trial in the murder of former Ahoada DPO, Bako Angbashim have been granted bail on health grounds in the sum of ten million naira each and one surety in like some.
Justice Sika Henry in his ruling ordered that the surety must be a traditional ruler from Ahoada East/West LGAs or a Permanent Secretary.
He also ruled that the defendants must sign a bail bond to be present in Court for their trial and ordered them to deposit their travel documents with the registrar of the court.
