The murder case of late Divisional Police Officer of Ahoada East Division, Bako Angbasim has been adjourned to January 12th for bail applications and Ferbruary 2 for a substantial trial.
The Rivers State High Court adjourned the matter to enable lawyers regularise their processes.
We gathered that, the prosecuting lawyer, C. F. Amadi, had argued that the trial should not be continued since the police are still investigating the matter.
Angbashim was reportedly murdered by suspected cultists loyal to 2baba who is currently wanted by the Police.
The Police had in a statement vowed to bring the killers of the late officer to book.
