Some youths of Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, has decried what they described as ‘abandonment’ of the Ngo General Hospital.
The youths in a statement today, said it is disheartening that the General Hospital, has been abandoned by the current administration.
They said despite having highly placed government officials, there is nothing to show for it.
“We have speaker, we have reps, we have AG, we have Head of Service,….yet we have nothing,” they said.
The youths called on the state government to rehabilitate the general hospital and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
You would recall that students and residents of Ngo Town, had in a statement appealed to Governor, Nyesom Wike to reopen the general hospital, which was shut in February owing to insecurity.
