A State Assembly aspirant, identified as Hon. Uloma from Etche LGA, has accused Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi of using proceeds he made from the Ministry of Transport to destroy the party in the state.
Uloma, made this known in a chat with journalists, during a protest at the party Secretariat in Port Harcourt, today.
Some party members, were this morning seen protesting in front of the Rivers APC Secretariat with placards showing various inscriptions, accusing the party leadership of hijacking the State and ward congresses, slated for today.
According to Uloma, the state chiarman of the party has been compromised, adding that they will resist all attempts to hijack the process
She also explained that, she saw the State Chairman, and Hon. Asita Asita moving electoral materials meant for the Congress.
Other aspirants also accused the party leadership of hijacking the process on the instructions of the former Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi.
