Although no official complaint has been received by the Police or made by families of the victim, the CP Rivers State Command, CP Okon O. Effiong Psc (+), fdc, has activated and tasked tactical teams in Port-Harcourt to immediately unravel the circumstances surrounding the alleged abduction of Dr Godswill Dike, a brother to the APC legal adviser in the State.
From the scanty information available to the Command it is indicated that the victim had signed for and collected the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the recently concluded election results at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office, and may have been abducted on his way home.The exact location of the incident is yet unknown.
However, CP Okon Effiong has charged the tactical teams to deploy their human and material assets to ensure his immediate rescue and arrest of the perpetrators of the crime .
