The legislative arm of the Ahoada-West Local Government Area has reacted to the call by NULGE in Rivers State for the council boss to pay over one hundred workers of the council salaries owed them.
The legislative arm after a sitting yesterday, unanimously threatened to impeach the council boss, Hope Ikiriko if he dares pay any of the said workers any amount as salaries.
They said the said workers are ghost workers who have been defrauding the council of funds.
They warned the council boss not to heed the call of NULGE or else, face impeachment.
