Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, in Ahoada East Local Government Area, have given the Minister of Transportation Hon. Chibuike Amaechi and Senator Magnus Ngei Abe three months to resolve their differences, in the interest of the party.
Leader of the delegation, Ibiso Nwuche in a statement after a stakeholders meeting yesterday, said the issues between the Minister and Sen. Abe is of no good to the party.
He said the comment by Amaechi that the Party’s Governorship position be zoned to the riverine, is capable of dividing the party, as stakeholders were not duly consulted.
He called on the Minister and other party leaders to promote internal democracy and avoid acts capable of further dividing the party.
Nwuche noted that Amaechi’s statement are his personal opinion and not that of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State.
