Executive Chairman of Etche Local government area, Hon. Obinna Anyanwu has paid another round of special educational intervention fund to students of the Rivers State University who are natives of the LGA.
Spokesperson of the council, Oluor Robinson made this known in a statement yesterday.
According to him, the gesture is following the “No Fees, No Exam” policy of the institution.
His statement reads,

This evening, the Executive Chairman of Etche Local Government Area, Chief Hon. Obinna Anyanwu Ph.D, paid another round of special educational intervention fund to some undergraduate students of the Rivers State University, RSU who are natives of Etche,” he said.
This is following the implementation of ‘No Fees, No Exam’ policy by the management of the institution,” he added.
The council chairman had few days ago paid the fees of some students of the institution to enable them write their exams.
