Nigerian Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has placed a $50,000 bet on the Super Eagles ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semi-final clash against Morocco on Wednesday.

Sharing a photo of his betting slip on Instagram, the ‘Timeless’ hitmaker expressed confidence in Nigeria’s chances against the Atlas Lions in the crucial encounter scheduled for 9:00 pm Nigerian time. He captioned the post: “Nigeria to make the finals and I’ll double my stake on my slip…. #stake.”

The bet, placed on popular platform Stake, combines predictions including both teams to score and the Asian total over 1.5 goals, with odds of 6.97. Should his predictions hold, the Grammy-nominated artist stands to win an estimated payout of $348,274.07—roughly ₦500 million at current exchange rates.
