The Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, RIVCSO, has called on the state government and Management of the state College of Health to with immediate effect address the plights of students of the institution.

Chairman of RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill in a statement on Monday, said rather than resort to intimidating the students, issues raised should be addressed.

He noted that the management of the school has also prevented students from entering the campus.

Georgewill, commended the students for standing up against bad leadership on the part of the school and other relevant authorities.

“Rivers Civil Society Organizations, Call on the School management and the Rivers State Government to look at the plight of the students rather than resorting to intimidation and suppression of the students’ right to freely express themselves by way of protest,” he said.

“Management of the Rivers State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology have locked the gate of the School Campus, preventing student from entering or exiting the Campus,” he added.
