The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State has announced plans to inaugurate its Governorship Campaign Council on Monday, October 26, 2026, in Port Harcourt.
The inauguration, according to a statement issued by the party’s State Secretary, Hon. Sam Sam-Etetegwung, is being organised under the leadership of the State Chairman, Chief (Engr.) Dr. Chukwudi Dimkpa, in conjunction with the State Executive Committee.
The event is scheduled to take place at the NAFOWA Event Centre, Air Force Base, along G.U. Ake Road, Port Harcourt, by 10:00 a.m.
All appointed members of the Campaign Council have been directed to attend the ceremony and arrive early, as the programme is expected to commence promptly.
The party described the inauguration as an important milestone in its commitment to building what it called a better, stronger and more prosperous Rivers State.
