OGONI DEVELOPMENT DRIVE WARNING TO THE IKWERRE LGA CHAIRMEN, DIS-HONOURABLE SAMUEL NWANOSIKE.
Ogoni Development Drive (ODD), a social cultural organization from the South-East senatorial District of Rivers state. Has watch with utter dismay and perplexity, the audacity with which a certain individual said to be the Chairman of the Ikwerre LGA throws caution to the wind while hauling insults at the executive Governor of Rivers state, H.E Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
This has become too worrisome because, as a group whose advocacy moderates the feelings of the people of that district, which happens to be the same geopolitical zone of the Governor. We have had enough of the denigration of our son, who by providence is occupying the number one seat of power of our dear state today, a rare occurrence that took 56yrs to come by.
We heard his impertinence the first time and ignored him, because we believed it was an error of thought and a gaff manifested by some substance overdose. And that his handlers, kinsmen and principal will rein him in, and bring him to his senses. But while we were still expecting an unreserved sincere public apology from him, his demons came back with a sophomore barrage of stereotypical debased name tags on the same Governor. Showing that it was & is a well orchestrated act from a perfidious political hireling, with backings from a higher authority.
Consequent upon the above realization, ODD is constrain after an elaborate consultation with the South-East senatorial District stakeholders, to issue the following warning to Mr Samuel Nwanosike and his cohorts.
- That never again shall we tolerate the slightest insolence from him to the person or office of the Governor. Be it directly or indirectly, openly or covertly, nor suggestively.
- That while we wish not to go down low to his debased muddy level in thought and in actions. It is important to inform Mr Samuel that, nobody has a monopoly of rascally and unethical behavior. And that henceforth, if he makes even the slightest unguarded hiss at the Governor, we shall respond in coordinate proportion and more. We shall hit him with all our might, we shall include his family history, and his principal will not be spared. We shall make sure it hurts.
- That Samuel Nwanosike should be called to order by his kinsmen (Ikwerre Elders), if at all, they are not the ones instigating and encouraging him to go on such a jive.
- That if Nwanosike in his political discombobulation, continues in his rascality, we may not guarantee the isolation of a tribal connotation to our escalation. Because, if not for his “misconceived communal advantages”, such dimwit won’t have the temerity to take such a stand against a sitting Governor. Therefore, ODD will not do him the favour of articulating our response the next time around.
- That he (Nwanosike) prides himself to be a killer, and a blood thirsty monster who uses the cloak of “Oxxx secret society” to intimidate and oppress the good people of Ikwerre LGA. But we want to inform him that, before him there were many who had walked that inglorious path, and are still around in our society today with bigger portfolio and better societal coordination. So how many has he actually killed if the result for the Killers-Olympiad is called?
- We wish to inform him that, “Although We Preach Peace, it does Not Mean We Are Oblivious Of The Art Of War”. And no matter how priceless peace may be, when freedom is taken out of the equation, then war might just be a viable solution.
Finally;
We want peace, but the peace that doesn’t undermine the office and authority of our Governor. And whosoever has been commissioned to denigrate the reverence of the office of the Governor, should know that the office is bigger than the man in office, and a disrespect to the man on the seat is a disrespect to the entire Rivers people. And we would not fold our arms to watch such manifestation ever again and do nothing to forestall it, no matter the cost.
