Senator, Magnus Ngei Abe has obtained the governorship form of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to contest the 2023 Rivers gubernatorial election.
Abe, obtained the form at the party’s Secretariat, today.
The former federal lawmaker who is having a running battle with former governor of the state, Chibuike Amaechi had during an interview boasted that he is most qualified to rule the state in 2023.
He had also faulted the endorsement of Arch. Patrick Tonye Cole as the consensus candidate of the party in the state, by some leaders of the APC.
“We are having an election and people are already bringing in their partner; you all should look for your own partners so you can enjoy the dividends of a good leadership when the time comes and that is the reason I am here today to tell you that I am ready to serve you and I pledge that my kind of government will make sure you eat before I eat,” he had said.
