Popular Nigerian comedian KObaba Jornsen has announced the 2026 edition of his annual KObaba Youth Convention (KOYC), themed “Small Became Big”, to inspire and equip young people in entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership.
The free convention will hold on August 22, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at Oak Park Event Center, Port Harcourt, featuring strategic sessions, business conversations, success stories and practical teachings.
Speakers include actor and entrepreneur Jim Iyke, Lanre Oluseye, Daere Akobo, Amadi Harry, Timi Dakolo and Dr. Elia Ezeadilejie (Veronica’s Daughter).
A paid KOYC Extraordinary session will follow on August 23 at 1:00 p.m. at Galaxy Lapalm Royal Resort, Port Harcourt.
The organisers said the main convention offers free registration, access, lunch, conference materials, campus buses, medical aid and therapy sessions.
Registration is compulsory and will close once capacity is reached. KObaba urged youths to register early, saying: “Don’t hear about it afterwards. Be in the room!”
