The Trade Union Congress (TUC), has described the Federal Government’s 774,000 Special Public Works Programme as a “huge scam.”
President of TUC Quadri Olaleye, in a statement yesterday, said it is designed to manipulate Nigerians.
Quadri stated that he is yet to see anyone who has been employed since the government announced the commencement of the programme.
The Labour leader, charged the government to create an enabling environment for the private sector to create quality jobs for citizens.
The Special Works Programme is aimed at employing 774,000 citizens across the nations local government areas.
