The Rivers State Government says those who applied for the 5000 jobs in the state, should be Patient as the government will deliver soon.
The state Commissioner for Information and Cimmunication, Paulinus Nsirim, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, said the Wike administration keeps to its promises.
He said job creation is a priority for the state government, and that they are committed to create sustainable employment opportunities for the youths of the state.
He said applications are still being processed, as he urged applicants to be optimistic.
“Those who applied should be patient. The character of this administration is one that keeps promises. Wike is one governor that has said he will not leave any abandoned project, and this 5,000 jobs is one promise he will fulfill. It is top priority for him,” he said.
He also said the Civil Service Commission, is in the process of screening to ensure that those who are employed are eminently qualified.
“They need to ensure that no one who qualified is disenfranchised,” Nsirim added.
