FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has reaffirmed his commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election, declaring that he will work to ensure the President records a strong victory in Rivers State and the Federal Capital Territory.
Wike said his support for Tinubu’s re-election does not depend on being appointed Director-General or even becoming a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
According to him, his priority is to continue supporting the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda while working to improve Tinubu’s electoral fortunes in Rivers and the FCT.
“When I return, our focus will be the continuous delivery of our mandate in line with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and to further enhance his electoral fortune in Rivers State and the FCT,” Wike said through Olayinka.
He added that he would contribute his quota to ensuring that Tinubu “wins handsomely” in both Rivers State and the FCT, regardless of any position in the campaign council.
