President of the Ogoni Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers, HRM, GNK Gininwa has appealed to Rivers people to consider Ogonis who can deliver good governance to Rivers people in 2023.
Gininwa, made this known when Sen. Magnus Abe, paid him a courtesy visit in his palace, today.
He noted that the Ogonis are waiting for the day, Magnus Abe would declare his governorship ambition, as they would support him.
According to him, Abe is loved and respected by all and sundry. He called on all sons and daughters of Ogoni to love themselves and allow peace reign.
His statement reads
Magnus Abe is our son and we love and respect him. We wish and wait for the day he will come and tell us that he is running for the Governorship of Rivers State in 2023, we will support him. We need a Government that loves the people.
We want peace in Ogoni land and Rivers State. We use this opportunity to call on our sons and daughters to love themselves and let there be peace.
We want to thank Ogoni people for standing by us because without the people there will be no leadership.
We also want to appeal to Rivers people to consider Ogonis that can deliver on good Governance to Rivers people.
