Senior Pastor of Salvation Ministries, Bishop, David Ibiyeomie has warned Nigerians not to sell their future by taking money to vote in the forthcoming elections.
The cleric, who made this known during a church sermon said those who take money to vote will suffer for the next eight years.
He said no amount of money is worth someone’s future as Nigerians need to get it right this time, noting that people cannot pray for good leaders when they take money to vote.
He advised Nigerians to vote their conscience, adding that anyone who takes money to vote is no longer voting his/her conscience.
He described those collecting money to vote as Esau, and urged Nigerians to reject money during elections if they have vision.
“Don’t take money for election. If you take money to vote, I can tell you as a prophet of God, you go suffer. The one you suffer, e never do you? Is your name suffering? ” he asked.
