The leadership of the All Progressives Congress in the South South region of the country says it has urged all party members in the zone to support presidential flagbearer of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to emerge victorious in next year’s presidential election.
National Chairman of the party in the zone, Victor Giadom in a chat with journalists after a meeting with some leaders of the party in the region today, said they will do everything humanly possible to ensure that Tinubu succeeds President, Mohammadu Buhari next year.
He also said they will work towards ensuring that the party wins all elective positions in the region.
“We congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for emerging as the presidential candidate of our party and thank him for the steps he has so far taken to unite those who contested that election with him and to assure him that the South South zone will support his ticket,” he said.
“The South South zone in that direction has resolved to work with and the party to ensure victory in the 2023 election,” he added
