The Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress in Rivers State, Tonte Ibraye has adopted the Labour party’s Presidential candidate, Peter Obi as his preferred candidate for Saturday’s presidential election.
Ibraye in a statement said the decision was reached after a meeting with stakeholders of his party yesterday.
According to him, they decided to endorse Obi because he has what it takes to transform the nation based on his antecedents, and urged members of his party and Nigerians in general to vote for Obi whom he described as a true leader.
This comes hours after Dr. Dawari George of Action Alliance endorsed Obi for the poll.
