Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, has dismissed reports making the rounds that he is nurturing a presidential anbition.
Wike, in a statement in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, said for now he has no ambition to contest for the office of the president.
However, he said that does not mean that he will not have the intention to contest later.
The governor, stated that no one can intimidate him not to contest because he is qualified to do so.
“I dont have ambition to run for president for now, that does not mean that tomorrw I will not have the intention to run,” he said.
He stated that his primary aim is to see how the party could be better positioned to win the 2023 general elections, as Nigerians are waiting for them to do so.
